Key Staff

Janice Fisher, LNHA Janice Fisher, LNHA

I have been working in long term care for 21 years—12 of these as a licensed nursing home administrator. My career began in 1999 when I held a receptionist/medical records position. Over the course of eight years I worked in many different roles in the skilled nursing home setting, which prompted me to become an administrator. I subsequently obtained my license in 2007.

Being a positive influence in the lives of the residents, their families, and staff is very important to me. Holding a leadership role allows me to guide others in providing quality care and support in the nursing center setting. The relationships that are built with the residents are invaluable.

I am proud of my years of service as Administrator of Carrollton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and strive to make a difference every day.

Admissions Director

I have worked in long-term care for over seven years in various positions. I started out as a CNA, but I have worked as a staffing coordinator, central supply and transport and business office assistant.

The residents we help take care of is what makes long-term care so special. We get to guide them through a time that some have never experienced while also learning about their journey through life. Every resident and every story is unique, but we treat all of our residents the same—like family.

I have been employed at Carrollton Nursing and Rehab for the past 24 years. I started my employment here as a CNA and within six months was offered to be part of the bath team. After a few years, I worked in central supply and later I also worked as the staffing coordinator. I have also worked as a restorative aide and in central supply. From there I became the activities director for the facility, and I have enjoyed every day of making our residents smile.
